I’m Dan Hopwood. I run Fidero, a data platform for companies whose customer data breaks across domains and systems, built entirely with AI agents – code, audits, strategy, sales.

That claim tends to get a reaction. Fair enough. This site is where I show my working and share the secrets.

People treat the AI building and the data work as two separate things. They’re not. I’ve spent 12+ years making customer data trustworthy for tech startups – attribution, identity, quality. The same rigour that makes data trustworthy is what makes AI agents reliable: garbage in, garbage out, whether it’s an event pipeline or an agent’s context.

Practitioner first, advisor second. I work as a fractional CDO and AI advisor, and everything I advise on I’ve built with first. (Seedcamp mentor on the side)
